2019 August Open Day Competition Melbourne Campus Terms and Conditions

MIT Open Day 2019 Competition– Terms & Conditions of entry: the promoter of this competition is Melbourne Institute of technology (MIT) ABN: 20 072 324 755 of 288 La Trobe street, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

This competition is free to enter and open to Victorian residents above the age of 14 who are interested in studying at MIT and who complete all relevant details in the registration forms provided at school expos, community expos, commercial expos, during MIT Melbourne open day on 17 August 2019 and the online registration form at www.mit.edu.au/register-open-days.

The competition commences from 9 AM, 1 May 2019 and closes at 12 PM, 17 August 2019. Employees of MIT and their family members are not eligible to enter. Entry is limited to one entry per person. Incomplete or multiple entries will be invalid.

By entering this competition, you are placed in a draw to win an iPad mini (valued at AU$498) or a GoPro Hero7 Silver (valued at AU$499.95). There will be a total of 2 winners.

By entering the competition, you agree to receive information and marketing communications from MIT concerning MIT, its courses and services. MIT may use any personal information in accordance with its privacy policy (http://mit.edu.au/privacy). 

The prizewinners will be drawn at random during the MIT Melbourne Open Day on 17 August 2019 at 1.30 PM, at the MIT Melbourne campus. Winners will be notified by email within 2 business days after the draw. The prize will be deemed unclaimed if it is not collected as and when directed by MIT, in which case, MIT may conduct a re-draw for a substitute winner.

The decision of MIT concerning the conduct of this competition including the results is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Each entrant consents to MIT publishing the name and photo of the winners on www.mit.edu.au and the MIT Facebook and Instagram page.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MIT is NOT liable for any personal injury or loss (including loss of opportunity) or damage, whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential, in relation to this competition or the use of the prize.

MIT reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the competition without notice.
